Karen Didion

Karen Didon-Karen Didion Originals

Karen began her wholesale business “Karen Didion Originals” in 1995.  Her work has been featured in Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Frontgate and many specialty gift shops across the United States.  The santas come in a variety of styles to please many interests, from the traditional santas to ones that appeal to the outdoorsmen, wine and train enthusiasts.

These Santa figures have hand painted resin faces and hands with inset glass eyes and real mohair beards. Many exquisite and unique fabrics are used to make the Santa's clothing, such as; imported tapestry, velvet, jacquard knit, satin, velour, suede and leather. Novelty prints and designer buttons set off the vests and coats. Faux fur, embroidery, unusual braid and tassels are used as trims. The Santa bodies are fiberglass and weighted to be free-standing. The decorative accessories are unique, many are created expressly to fit the style and theme of these precious Santas. All of the attention given to the details make these collectible Santas special to give as a gift or collect all year round.

 Lynn Haney Collection

Lynn Haney-Lynn Haney Santa Collection

The first Santa Lynn made was actually a soft-sculpture stitched and fabricated by hand in a long, bell-trimmed hat. With the encouragement of his wife, Lynn soon started another and others began to follow, with clay heads and more trim and accessories. And in 1987, the Lynn Haney Collection officially began.

Based on designs by the artist, European braids, trims and furs are carefully sewn to give each piece its own distinctive personality. Beards and wigs are made by hand from mohair, wools and other natural fibers and are expertly attached to each piece.  Toys, packages, baskets and other accessories are the final addition in the production of each character.

Hosting an Arts and Crafts television show in Tennessee for the Nashville Network and she received a Fine Arts Degree from Charlotte, North Carolina. One of her favorite mediums is clay, and sculpting, hence the arrival of this intriguing collection of hand crafted Santas, Personality People and Painted Pillows.  Our collection is 100% hand crafted in the USA and we take a great deal of pride in our truly one of a kind collectibles.

Mark Roberts Santa Collection

Mark Roberts- Mark Roberts Limited Edition Santa Collection

Established in 1984, Mark Roberts brings the joy and magic back to the holidays.  Each santa is handcrafted of carefully selected quality materials.  Each santa's outfit is intricately detailed.  The santas come in collectible box with a limited edition registration card and Certificate of Authenticity .

Elaine Roesle- St. Nicholas Collection

Elaine Roesle started her career in 1972 creating antique porcelain doll reproductions. All of these Santas are handmade by me.  She began making St. Nicks in 1978 and sold them at various craft shows in the Eastern  & Central part of the country. The heads are original designs that she had molds made from . The heads are cast in an earthenware bisque as well as the hands.  They are fired in a kiln, then hand painted and dressed.

In 2005 Elaine Roesle was picked by an independant panel of Judges for Early American Life Magazine as one of the "Top 25" Santa makers in the Country. This is something that she is very proud of. It proves that hard work and detemination pays off. The faces almost have a lifelike look about them. Many are dressed in velvets and recycled furs. Elaine Roesle does limited edition pieces as well as one of a kind pieces.
